Gîte Passion Rétro - Saint-Astier

Located in the heart of the Périgord region, in the Dordogne, in a charming village, our Gîte de Charme is ideally situated between the art and history cities of Bordeaux and Périgueux, the prehistoric sites of Sarlat, and the wine regions of Saint-Émilion, Bordeaux, and Bergerac.

With friends or family, you can relax in the hammock by the pond, enjoy the private heated swimming pool (secured by a roller shutter), stroll through the garden, or discover our collection of vintage vehicles and creations by local and international artists.

Gîte Passion Rétro is an authentic holiday retreat offering all modern comforts. It is a former dairy farm, where locals still came with their milk cans until the late 1970s, and which we have completely restored. We wanted to preserve the soul and authenticity of this lovely house by decorating it with items found here and there in flea markets and the many garage sales in the area.

We are passionate about classic vehicles (cars, caravans, motorcycles) and vintage items, and we offer a personalized welcome to our guests' classic vehicles (covered parking spaces).

The house is located in the village of St Astier, which offers all amenities: shops, a theater, a cinema, tennis courts (including one indoor court), an indoor swimming pool, one of the largest weekly markets in the Dordogne, a tourist cycle route, fishing in the Isle (a tributary of the Dordogne), hiking trails, and more. Numerous events take place throughout the summer in St Astier and the surrounding area: gourmet markets, flea markets, blues, jazz, and theater festivals, rock and classical concerts, local festivals and dances, and much more.
